    Bio-Design’s Lithium Orotate contains 125 mg of lithium Orotate per 1 capsule serving, of which 5 mg is elemental lithium.  Lithium Orotate is formed by the reaction of orotic acid with lithium.  Since Orotic acid is an organic substance that occurs naturally in our cells, the reacted orotate form allows for optimum absorption and bioavailability.

    The renowned German physician, Dr. Hans Nieper pioneered mineral orotate research. Orotic Acid was historically considered to be vitamin B-13.
