    Bio-Design’s Calcium Orotate contains 1,000 mg of calcium orotate per 2 capsule serving, of which 110 mg is elemental calcium.  Calcium Orotate Orotate is formed by the reaction of orotic acid with calcium.  Since Orotic acid is an organic substance that occurs naturally in our cells, the reacted orotate form allows for optimum absorption and bioavailability.

    The renowned German physician, Dr. Hans Nieper pioneered mineral orotate research. Orotic Acid was historically considered to be vitamin B-13.

    Calcium is one of the most important minerals in the body. It is involved in many physiological processes including cardiac function, muscle metabolism, nerve transmission, and the development of healthy bones. 

    Calcium Orotate pairs well with Bio-Design's Magnesium Orotate.

    Hoping Very Good...

    I love the idea of an orotate supplement offering optimal absorption & Bioavailability. However, it is difficult to know how much to take in order to receive the required amount of 2000mg of calcium a day. As I have osteoporosis, it is very important for me to know how much Bio-Design Calcium Orotate to take to equal 2000 mg calcium. I called to speak with an advisor about that subject and no one knew!!! I would love some advice.
